About Us

Katie Stroman is a duly Licensed Massage Therapist and  Esthetician with over 22 years of experience, and the proud owner of Evanescence Massage and Skin Studio.  Her journey into wellness began in 1998 when she moved to the serene community of Lake Tahoe, Ca.  It was there after experiencing her first Massage that Katie discovered her lifes passion for helping others feel renewed , both physically and emotionally.

After returning to her roots in the Philadelphia area, Katie graduated in 2003 from The Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy.  In 2011 she founded Evanescence Massage and Skin Studio and in recent years went on to expand her expertise by becoming a Licensed Esthetictian and focusing on corrective Skincare.

Katie strives to embody the meaning of Evanescence in her work by creating treatments where clients can fade away from the world and leave their stresses behind. She works to create a sanctuary of renewal and relaxation, helping her clients emerge, refreshed, balanced, and feeling and looking their absolute best.
